How long have you been in business?
In the insurance business since 1977.
What is your primary product or service?
Life, Health, Disability, Auto, Home, Business insurance (Property and Auto - including fleet).
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Started in the industry as a Commercial insurance underwriter in Toronto Canada and moved into the brokerage / agency industry because I enjoyed interacting with the public and sharing my knowledge.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Personal experience from a serious Head on collision (2005). I was the only survivor. Learnt more about how to deal with Insurance companies when dealing with a claim. Never buy insurance based on costs but on coverage and reputation of the company. I had all the insurance one can think of to cover my medical bills of over $580,000.00 (Debt free of this bill) This, I inherited for an accident I did not cause. 3rd party who hit me died and had only $15,000.00 auto coverage.All my insurance plans kicked in.
